On Monday we visited a group of families and orphans that have been affected by
AIDS.
The children and women that live in the AIDS house are excluded from the community. The village neighbours don't understand that AIDS is transmitted through blood. So they treat the people in the AIDS House like they are contagious.
So the village children won't play with the children who have AIDS. And the adults with AIDS can not get work which means they have been stuck in poverty.
But ICC has been helping the women to earn an income by making and selling doll angels. This little business makes money so that those in the AIDS house can survive.
